Aztex Enterprises is in the process of selling its 24 gas stations and convenience stores in East and Middle Tennessee, according to company officials.

The company has also completed the contracts it had to operate 13 gas stations and convenience stores in Memphis.
In East Tennessee, Aztex will sell five stations and one vacant piece of property on Topside Road to Pilot Corp., while six stations will be sold to H.T. Hackney Co. In the Tri-Cities area, Aztex has sold four stations to Mountain Empire Oil, and the company has a purchase agreement for the sale of its nine Nashville stores and two pieces of vacant property to Parman Oil Co.
Pilot Corporation Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Haslam said the company will change the names of the five stations it has acquired to Pilot, and will also begin construction on a new convenience store on the vacant property it acquired from Aztex.
