C.H. Robinson, Minneapolis, recently acquired TCI, a third party logistics company specializing in refrigerated LTL services based in Brooklyn Center, Minn.
Like C.H. Robinson, TCI is a non-asset-based company that provides temperature controlled LTL consolidation and distribution services through contracts with over 400 carrier companies and contracted cold storage warehouse facilities. TCI has 38 employees, and had gross revenues of approximately $24 million in 1999.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
