The European Commission has approved Swedish truck maker Volvo AB's acquisition of Renault's RVI truck unit after the companies offered "significant" concessions to address competition concerns.
According to published reports, Volvo will drop its involvement with rival Swedesh truck maker Scania. Similarly, Renault will end its relationship in the bus sector with the Fiat group's Iveco unit.
