The Jim Hoffa Unity Slate submitted more than 400,000 rank and file signatures last week for his re-election bid in the upcoming International Brotherhood of Teamsters officers’ election.

Teamster members from across the U.S. and Canada signed petitions as part of the process to accredit Hoffa and his slate for the IBT election scheduled for the fall of 2001. The petitions were circulated nationally. The number of signatures is unprecedented in the history of Teamster elections.
