eflatbed.com, the specialized Internet marketplace for flatbed truck transportation, has announced partnerships with two B2B Internet markets set to begin operations soon.

The first is FerrousExchange, an international Internet market for steel and iron products scheduled to launch this summer. FerrousExchange will have operations in Pittsburgh, New York and Singapore.
The second is YardConnect.com, an online market for building products based in Seattle. YardConnect.com’s initial focus will be on structural lumber and panels.
eflatbed.com was launched in March of this year as a spin-off company from third-party logistics provider Pittsburgh Logistics Systems Inc. eflatbed.com claims to be the only Internet transportation marketplace dedicated to flatbed carriers and shippers.
