UPS Expands Wireless Services

United Parcel Service will expand services to customers who use small wireless communications devices. Users of pocket computers like the Internet-capable Palm VII and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) mobile phones will be able to calculate rates and check transit times in the UPS system. UPS customer with Palm VII's are already able to track UPS packages.
The new UPS offering should especially benefit mobile workers such as sales people and service technicians.
