Best of Show Bobtail "Big Willy," a 1990 Peterbilt 379 on a 315-inch wheelbase owned by Tom Smith (pictured, top) and Best of Show Combo "Almost Paradise," 77 Express, a 1999 Kenworth/1996 Utility (pictured, bottom), were judged hottest trucks at the second annual "Kool Trucks in Coldwater" Truck Show staged by the National Association of Show Trucks in Coldwater, Mich. this past weekend.

Trophies and cash prizes totaling $3000 were awarded to the winners.
Fifty-seven trucks dazzled the lot at Rick Crane's American Truck Driving School, host and a sponsor of this event. Saturday night the trucks staged a parade through the town and were wildly welcomed by enthusiastic crowds lining the streets. It didn't hurt that Miss Michigan was Parade Marshall in the lead vehicle.
Western Star trucks launched its Top Gun Tour at this event with three 2001 Constellation Series 4964 tractors, two for test drives and one pulling an interactive display trailer. The tour will be at all NAST shows this year.
Other sponsors were TransForce, a driver placement service, and Knowlan & Sons Trucking.
Featured entertainer Joey Holiday put on terrific shows throughout the weekend from the stage of his USA-muraled trailer.
Best of all, it didn't rain.
