Cummins Engine Co. is taking legal action to have Internet giant, Yahoo, Inc., reveal the identities of individuals who allegedly posted sensitive company information on a computer bulletin board.

The Columbus, IN - based maker of diesel engines is requesting that the Internet company turn over account information for seven different nicknames used to post messages Cummins found objectionable.
A number of messages written by people using those nicknames contained "proprietary and confidential information" about the company, Marya Rose, Cummins spokeswoman told Associated Press. "We're not on some kind of blanket hunt for everyone posting messages on Yahoo about Cummins. We have specifically targeted these messages we're concerned about."
