The National Private Truck Council is holding a series of one-day hours-of-service forums around the country to provide information on how the changes proposed by DOT will impact fleets.

The seminars are open to council members and non-members and will be held from 10:00 .a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (including a working lunch) on June 5 in Philadelphia; June 14 in Columbus, Ohio; June 15 in Chicago; June 27 in Atlanta; June 28 in Dallas; and June 29 in Los Angeles.
Forum leaders are NPTC's director of safety, Jim Noble, and director of government relations Matt Mlynarczyk. Noble worked earlier in his career as a truck driver and still holds a current commercial drivers license. He also worked in safety and operations management for trucking and truck leasing fleets. He now manages NPTC's safety and compliance programs and serves as liaison to federal and state agencies. Mlynarczyk is an experienced political operative and association executive with a practical knowledge of how Washington works.
At each forum Noble will provide a thorough grounding in what the proposed rules contain and the impact they will have on different transportation and distribution operations. Mlynarczyk will provide a toolkit attendees can use to help change the final rules by effectively communicating with federal officials and your members of Congress.
The seminar costs $95 for NPTC members and $150 for non-members, including lunch and all meeting materials. Attendees who bring their boss or colleagues can pay a team fee of $75 for additional attendees from the same NPTC member organization and $130 for non-member organizations.
