American Freightways Corp., Harrison, AR, has relocated 12 terminals to newly constructed facilities. The new facilities are said to double American Freightways' capacity to serve its customers in these markets.
They include:
* Indianapolis, IN - located at 4750 Decatur Blvd. Includes 16,250-sq. ft. of office space. The 91,680-sq. ft. dock area includes 174 loading doors with dock computers installed at each door
and can be expanded to 294 doors.
* Austin, TX - located at 2500 Chisholm Trail, Round Rock, TX, the site includes 40 loading doors with dock computers installed at each door, and can be expanded to 100 doors.
* Mattoon, IL- located at 945 Bob King Drive, Arcola, IL, the site includes 32 loading doors which can be expanded to 64 doors.
* Stevens Point, WI - located at 3020 Grant Avenue, Plover, WI, the facility includes 24 loading doors which can be expanded to 32 doors.
* Cadillac, MI - located at 1451 Hanthorn St. and situated on 3.47 acres, the facility includes 17 loading doors.
*. Lufkin, TX - located at 2202 Spence St., the center includes 20 loading doors that can be expanded to 60 doors.
* Richmond, VA- located at 13301 Grover Court, Chester, VA, the facility includes 60 loading
doors with dock computers installed at each door. The center can be expanded to 120 doors.
* Omaha, NE - located at 3502 S.11th St., Council Bluffs, IA, the facility includes 48 loading doors with dock computers installed at each door, and can be expanded to 96 doors.
* Fargo, ND - located at 4606 16th Ave., the new Fargo facility has 24 loading doors that can be expanded to 40 doors.
* Rockford, IL - located at 3302 American Rd., the site has 72 loading doors with dock computers installed at each door, and can be expanded to 96 doors.
* Charleston, WV - located at 4317 1st Ave., Nitro, WV, the new center includes 40 loading doors with dock computers at each door, and can be expanded to 80 doors.
* Duluth, MN - located at 3751 Midway Rd., Hermantown, MN, the center features 20 loading doors that can be expanded to 32 doors.
