The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance has linked up with PNV to bring safety information to truck drivers who use the communications and entertainment services of PNV at truckstops.

PNV and CVSA plan to jointly develop original safety programs for access over the PNV network. The first such program will provide free PNV membership – including high-speed Internet service -- to drivers with million-mile, accident-free driving records. However, those drivers must work for companies belonging to the CVSA.
According to CVSA’s Director of Marketing and Membership Relations, Vu Nguyen, the relationship is at an “exploratory” stage. Both organizations are looking into ways of getting valuable truck safety information to drivers over the PNV network.
PNV provides cable television, Internet access and other services to truck drivers at truck stops. CVSA is a non-profit organization of North American private industry safety professionals and public safety organizations.
