Haldex will consolidate its Haldex Midland Services division into the Haldex Brake Systems Division. The consolidated business will report to Chuck Kleinhagen, president and division manager, Haldex Brake Systems.
Haldex Midland Services, which handles the North American aftermarket, was a separate division acquired with Midland-Grau in 1998.
"Recent changes in the structure of the industry and the customer base point to the need for closer collaboration and coordination between the units working with the original equipment manufacutrers and those working with the replacement parts market," said Kleinhagen. "Consolidation of all activities regarding commercial vehicle brake equipment will allow Haldex to be more responsive to customer needs."
