Nov. 12 – Roadrunner Trucking, Albuquerque, NM, has launched its newest division, RoadRunner Express. It will be Roadrunner Trucking’s first short-haul, flatbed-specific service with lanes primarily in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The operation is based in Dallas and has a tractor fleet of 100 company drivers and 50 owner-operators.
The new division expands Roadrunner Trucking’s coverage with greater lane density to the already existing routes operating in the Southwest, West and Central states. It also expands the company’s scope of services by operating as a specialty short-haul carrier, and will allow drivers to get home more often, according to company spokesmen.
