Wabash National will introduce the re-engineered Transcraft Eagle with new features for model year 2021 at the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting Feb. 24-27 in Atlanta, the company said.

In addition to a lighter weight design, Wabash National said the Transcraft Eagle offers premium features as standard, including more load securement versatility; a high standard beam rating to handle the toughest loads; additional side turn/marker lamps for better highway visibility; and limited-lifetime beam and 5-year wheel-end warranties.

“We’re excited to show customers that the flatbed trailer they’ve depended on for generations is back with new, edgy product badging and premium features that now come standard,” said Al Cox, platform sales director. According to the company, the Transcraft Eagle was one of the first combo trailers to hit the market. “Our product is known for being stronger and lower weight, while having more payload capacity and best-in-class corrosion resistance."
