While Cummins has lost approximately 2.5% of its market share since 2017, it still retains close to 50% of the overall diesel engine market. Aside from Detroit Diesel, which saw a 3.2% growth in terms of market share, the remaining manufacturers have only lost or gained a portion of a percentage point over the last two years.
