Geotab has added BlackBerry Limited's Radar connected asset tracker to its marketplace, so fleets can pair it with Geotab's telematics platform, the companies have announced.
BlackBerry Radar provides reporting from multiple sensors and integrates with the MyGeotab software platform. Fleet managers who use it will gain real-time data on the status of their trailers, chassis, or containers. Radar also provides a range of sensor data such as route and mileage, temperature, humidity, door open/close, and cargo load state.
Radar is easy to install and feeds to Geotab's online dashboard. Data is transmitted and securely stored on a cloud platform that maintans the privacy of user information, according to BlackBerry.
