The California Trucking Association has partnered with Gamie, LLC on a new initiative to launch the Trucking Proud Insurance Agency, which will provide insurance products for trucking companies.

Insurance products that the for-profit agency may offer include workers compensation, auto liability, and employee benefits insurance.

TPIA will be made available to both CTA members and non-members. CTA saad it will provide additional support services aimed at enhancing the experience for members working iwth the insurance agency.

It was noted that unique services to be offered will include a video production team, truck inspection applications for smartphones, and a digital client interface that will eliminate all paper and PDF applications.

The agency will offer several policies and policy types. These will include: bonds, crime, employee benefits, excess umbrella, motor truck cargo, occupational accident, physical damage, pollution, workers compensation, and truck liability, among others. Policy types will include traditional guaranteed cost, captive programs, large deductible, and self-insured.
