A.The cabpower box basically gives electrical outlets in your sleeper area and gives GFCI protection to those outlets. If there is an inverter installed ,the inverter would power those outlets from your batteries when driving or parked. If you do not have an inverter installed, then the only way to get power to the cab power box and your outlets is to plug into an extension cord in the small inlet below your driver door. There will likely be 2 inlets under your driver door with a flap to seal off from moisture, one will be for your block heater and the other for your cab power system. So, if you have no inverter you can only use the cab power system if you plug into shorepower while parked or you have a really long extension cord.
