Old Dominion has appointed three new executives in the sales, marketing, and communications fields to support the company’s growth.

The company has named Greg Plemmons senior vice president of sales, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Plemmons has been with Old Dominion for 21 years and previously served as vice president of field sales.

Steve Hartsell will replace Plemmons as vice president of field sales after having served as the director of expedited services for the company. He is tasked with leading a team of regional sales directors who are responsible for the hiring, education, and development of the field sales team of more than 500 employees.

Additionally, Dick Podiak has been appointed vice president of marketing and communications. Podiak comes from Kellogg, where he was the vice president of marketing.
