E.L.M. Repair and Refrigeration of Edgar, Wis., was awarded the HDA Truck Pride Truck Service Expert of the Year at the group’s annual meeting in San Diego, Calif.

E.L.M. was chosen for its excellent customer satisfaction and technological advancements, according to HDATP. The shop’s was also recognized for its focus on training and continual improvement. Owner Evan Lang and his son Jonah Lang accepted the award.

“It takes an entire team to make this business operate day in and day out with a strong focus on the customer and doing a thorough and accurate job the first time,” said Evan Lang. “Our employees are highly trained, passionate about their work, and the success of our customers. That takes training and discipline. I might lead this team, but every single employee is responsible for our growth and success. I graciously accept this award for all of our E.L.M. team.”

Established in 1996 by Evan and Mary Lang as a mobile air conditioning specialist, E.L.M. has expanded its operation to a 21-bay, full service truck and trailer repair facility. E.L.M was also recognized for its work in community service, supporting local charities such as Keeping Kids Warm, Toys for Tots, and the Edgar Lions Club.
