LAS VEGAS -- During Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, Gabriel Ride Control marked the one-year anniversary of distributing its offering of shock absorbers directly to its heavy-duty customers with the addition of 22 new truck, trailer and bus SKUs and 116 new competitive interchanges. All are listed in the new 2014 catalog.

Gabriel’s Fleetline and GasSLX product lines covers more than 3,000 OE part numbers and more than 2,000 competitors’ aftermarket part numbers. The catalog is available at the company’s website, www.gabriel.com. Fleets can search by make, OEM part, Gabriel part or competitor part. The search can also be accessed via smartphones.

In addition, with its new sales force, the company is offering product and maintenance training to its fleet customers.

One year ago, Gabriel began distributing its own heavy-duty products after terminating a long-term single-source distribution relationship.

“We’ve been able to completely replace our previous business while servicing our customers’ needs better by adding marketing, product and training support previously unavailable,” says Gary Stea, director OE and aftermarket HD sales.
