Stertil-Koni has introduced a new generation of its heavy-duty EcoLift scissor lift, featuring fully flush-mounted aluminum pit covers for greater convenience and safety.

The ultra-shallow, full-rise, in-ground lifting system is available in a 2-scissor or 3-scissor configuration with total lifting capacity of 60,000 pounds and 90,000 pounds, respectively.

EcoLift combines high-pressure, low-volume hydraulics, requiring a mere 3.5 gallons of fluid per scissor.

"What makes it particularly appealing to transportation agencies, architectural firms and engineers is its unique ability to deliver sizeable cost savings on construction and installation coupled with an engineering approach that enables it to be utilized in existing workshop pits and even at locations with high water tables," says Matthias Lennemann, Stertil-Koni Sales Manager for In-ground Lifts.

In September, EcoLift was awarded a U.S. patent for the advanced method by which the Stertil-Koni EcoLift uses a shallow pit scissor lift to raise vehicles. This was on top of the first EcoLift patent in 2012, which covered the combination of the scissor mechanism, carriage, cover, and other parts.
