Aljex Launches Intermodal Management System

Aljex Software has launched Vision Intermodal, a new, comprehensive rail intermodal management system within Aljex Vision-hosted software.

Aljex Software is a provider of hosted management applications for brokers, 3PLS, and transportation providers.

The new Vision Intermodal tracks each individual step in the door-to-door sequence of the rail intermodal process, with each step color-coded on the Aljex screen.

Vision Intermodal is very EDI-centric, meaning that EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the logistics language of the railroads as well as major shippers. That means communications with customers, railroads and drayage agents are largely electronic.
