Launched in 2008, MVASIST is a web-based system that allows fleet managers, service providers and dealers to work together in real time to expedite repairs and maximize uptime.
Through an online portal, customers are able to communicate with the dealer, initiate repairs, access a complete service history, approve and monitor repair status and manage repair expenses.
"We are excited to offer MVASIST at no cost to our customers who purchase a new Mack truck," says John Walsh, vice president, marketing. "This offer is evidence of our commitment to providing customers with the tools they need to more efficiently and effectively do their job. MVASIST enables timely communication, accurate estimates and access to a complete service history, all in one portal, which is what our customers told us they wanted and needed."
Mack will be demonstrating MVASIST at the Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting Feb. 20-23 in Tampa, Fla.
