The National Automobile Dealers Association's NADA University introduces a new guide to FET compliance rules for truck dealers.

The guide is a new addition to the Driven management guide series offered by the university and is meant to help truck dealers apply the tax correctly or make reasonable assessments when the rules are unclear.

"Understanding FET rules is not only a challenge for truck dealers; it's critical to their bottom line and meeting compliance requirements," says John Lyboldt, vice president of Dealership Operations at NADA. This guide, he says, addresses these issues.

Along with NADA, the guide was written by FET experts Mark H. Sideman, J.D. and Rose-Michele Nardi, J.D. of Weiner Brodsky Sidman Kider PC. The authors have 45 years of combined experience advising truck retailers on FET issues.

The guide can be accessed at NADAUniversity.com. It's free for ATD and NADA members and $50 for non-members.
