LOUISVILLE, KY -- Freightliner Trucks introduced new aerodynamic enhancements for the Cascadia.

Already among the most aerodynamic trucks on the road today, the Cascadia gets new next generation chassis side fairings and 20-inch side extenders. The result, on display this week at the Mid-America Trucking Show, is up to 1.8 percent improvement in fuel economy over the current 72-inch raised roof aerodynamic model.

"The Cascadia is the right solution for any business that wants to improve fuel economy without compromising style, comfort and performance," said Kary Schaefer, chief engineer, Cab Systems, for Freightliner Trucks.

Previously introduced enhancements include the roof deflector, chassis skirts, valence panel and bumper with closures.
