With PCS Software's new Carrier Report, its Dispatching Software can interface with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Safer database.
The new capability is meant to improve the carrier selection and approval process.
Using the interface, PCS customers can instantly investigate any carrier in the FMCSA database from within PCS' Dispatch Software.
The interface also allows for customizable dispatch monitoring, meaning customers can establish safety scoring requirements that carriers must meet before dispatches are approved within the software. PCS Dispatching Software will instantly check every carrier whenever carriers are booked for dispatch and, at the company's discretion, can warn the user or prevent the dispatch.
In addition, PCS has enhanced the load broadcast feature so that every carrier is inspected before any broadcast load is sent to them.
