Capacity of Texas announces the availability of a full line of "green" and diesel power solutions for its Terminal Tractor line.

Capacity is the only manufacturer to offer alternative fuel solutions which include both LNG and CNG, built on the Cummins ISLG platform. In 2009 Capacity introduced the world's first true electric hybrid, PHETT (Pluggable Hybrid Electric Terminal Tractor). The PHETT is in full production and being delivered to numerous customers.

The world's first hydrogen cell fuel terminal truck, ZETT (Zero Emission Terminal Truck) will be available in late 2010. The ZETT will operate for a minimum of 16 hours before taking 15 minutes to refuel with hydrogen.

Capacity's research and development efforts continue with the late 2010 scheduled launch of a V-10 gasoline engine, and in 2011 Capacity will introduce methanol technology as an alternative power option.

In 2010 Capacity's heavy duty on highway engine options will offer a Cummins SCR (selective catalyst reduction) and the Navistar MaxxForce advanced EGR. Capacity is the only manufacturer to offer both options to customers.

"As a leader in the terminal tractor industry, we are proud to offer these new and environmentally conscious power options, says Capacity President Phillip Ford. "These technologies will allow our customers the ability to choose what power source works best within their respective applications and complement our diesel line."

Capacity of Texas has been serving the terminal tractor industry for over 39 years under the Trailer Jockey brand.
