Buyers of Kenworth's T470 model can now purchase the truck with the 9-liter Cummins ISL engine with 365 horsepower and 1,250 pounds-feet of torque.
Previously, the truck was available with only the Cummins ISL with 345 horsepower and 1,150 pounds-feet of torque.
The medium-duty model can be used for snowplow, dump, mixer, winch, refuse, and other heavy front-axle vocational and municipal purposes.
It can be ordered with a range of manual and automatic transmissions and includes 12,000- to 22,000 pound-rated front axles, 21,000- to 26,000 pound-rated single rear axles and 40,000- to 46,000-pound-rated tandem rear axles.
