Convenience Products, which manufactures Touch 'n Seal insulating foam products, has created the new CPDS 1000, a constant pressure foam dispensing system.

The CPDS 1000, which uses compressed air to deliver higher foam yield, can dispense Class 1 fire retardant insulating foam from a double-ended disposable canister. The system also features fan or conical nozzles to get into tight spots. It's designed for new assembly, repair, soundproofing and structural strengthening of transport vehicles, according to the company.

"The CPDS's small footprint means it takes up minimal shop space while easily maneuvering the limited space in reefer trailers," said Bob Tubbesing, vice president of marketing at convenience products.

The CPDS 1000 can be used on horizontal or vertical surfaces and is available in sizes up to 150 feet long. The unit is made to fit in the back of a standard truck, weighing less than 155 pounds and a footprint measuring 24 inches by 33 inches. The system runs on a standard 120-volt power supply.
