Horton has debuted its DM Advantage and DriveMaster fan drive conversion kit with two-speed technology.
The converted fan drive turns the fan at a lower speed, which reduces noise, saves fuel and increases available horsepower.

The two-speed technology can be used to cool refuse trucks, rear-engine cement mixers, school and city buses, fire trucks, severe-service vehicles and other on/off highway equipment with little to no air ram.

The converted fan drive will offer higher torque for turning larger fans and higher ratios, precise temperature control, faster response to cooling needs, more power, less wear and tear and faster engine warm-ups in cold weather.

The conversion kit, which is compatible with any 65-millimeter fan pilot, includes a magnet design and installs without removing the fan drive.
