Internet Truckstop introduced ShipperMate, an online customer lead generation tool that provides Internet Truckstop members a database of more than 7 million shippers that have made at least one shipment,
whether it be full or less than truckload.
A profile of the shipper includes basic demographic information such as name, address and phone number, as well as information on what type of shipper they are, be it full truckload, less than truckload, rail or air, their minimum known freight spend, seasonal shipping patterns, rates into and out of their shipping location and a credit rating on that shipper. ShipperMate also provides users an online customer relationship management (CRM) program that helps freight broker and motor carrier sales people manage their leads and the sales process.
