New Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner with Fuel Conditioner and Treatment was formulated to be an all-around fuel additive for virtually any vehicle, including those with diesel engines.

It helps eliminate noisy injectors and fuel pumps, rough idle, hard starting and hesitation, according to the company. At the same time, its high-performance additives increase vehicle power, performance and mileage. It also helps save fuel.

Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner contains a blend of additives that clean and lubricate the entire fuel system, including fuel tanks, lines and injectors. With continued use, it reduces the carbon build-up that can cause pre-ignition, power loss, burned valves and broken rings, says the company.

A key ingredient in Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner is the Rislone Upper Cylinder Lubricant (UCL). UCL lubricates the entire fuel system, starting in the fuel tank and fuel lines, where it helps prevent rust and corrosion. It also lubricates and protects the fuel pump for longer life and quieter operation. The next step for UCL is to lubricate the injectors, allowing them to work more efficiently. Not only are cylinder deposits, including gum and varnish, removed, but as the UCL treats the upper cylinder, a lubricating film is formed that helps to prevent carbon from sticking so that it can be burned off. This film completely lubricates the upper piston, rings, guides, valves and seats.

Continued use of Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner in every tank of fuel offers full-time lubrication, reducing friction, wear and excess heat. It also replaces the lost additives in Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel, according to Rislone.

"Regular, year-round use will maintain optimum vehicle efficiency and power for all gasoline, ULSD diesel and E85 Flex-Fuel engines," says Jim Moffitt, vice president of sales and marketing for Bar's Products, manufacturer of Rislone.

Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner is available in several sizes to meet individual and fleet needs, ranging from a single-use, 6-ounce bottle to a 55-gallon drum.
