QSI Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah, released the TREQ-M4, rugged mobile data terminal with features needed for in-vehicle communication and control.


The TREQ-M4 offers a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system allowing for fast application design and integration. The display is a 480 x 272 pixel color TFT LCD, 109 mm (4.3") diagonal with a resistive touch screen. Additional standard features include two serial ports, two USB 1.1 full speed host ports, 10/100Base-T wired Ethernet and a 4-key lighted elastomeric keypad. Bluetooth, a magnetic card reader and an additional USB host port are available as optional features.

"The size of the TREQ-M4 allows the end user to mount and position the terminal for optimized functionality and minimal distractions," said Zachary Dimick, product manager at QSI Corporation.
