Truck-Lite added a rugged LED flood lamp to its Work Lamp line.
The lamp produces 323 lumens with a maximum intensity of 951 candela at 12.0 volts, almost double the light output of comparable vehicle-mounted flood lamps.
Using Truck-Lite's 6-diode pattern, they generate full brightness from only 8.5 volts for 12-v models and from 21-v for 24-v models. Both models have over-voltage protection. Twelve-volt models use 1.2 amps, while 24-volt lamps need only 0.5 amps.
The Flood Lamp is made with a die cast aluminum housing with polycarbonate lens and is protected with a black powder coat finish, designed to stand up to adverse environmental and atmospheric elements. Mounting hardware is stainless steel. The polycarbonate lens system developed in Truck-Lite's extensive engineering facility projects wide, rectangular illumination ideal for a wide variety of vehicle-related applications. LED light is brighter and whiter than incandescent light.
