The new products are available for order now, and will be assembled at the firm's plant in Monon, Ind.

The triples-rated dolly features a rigid single-piece I-beam running from the drawbar eye to the rear. The frame is hot-dip galvanized in one piece for maximum protection against corrosion, but is built in modules for easy repairs and is open for quick access to wiring and air brake parts. The dolly is counterbalanced for easy hand maneuvering and coupling, and includes a fifth wheel of bolted construction, which also facilitates repairs.

The 28-foot pup trailers have galvanized steel in the rear frame and gussets, impact guard and adapter, landing gear mounting brackets and cross bracing, mudflap brackets, air and electrical channels, upper coupler parts, and interior front bulkhead, logistics posts and scuff liners.

Vanguard says its steel galvanizing is done by its parent company, China International Marine Container Group, which can handle larger pieces than most facilities in the U.S.

The pups feature a 100-inch interior width, 110-inch height, 13/8-inch laminated oak flooring, sheet and post or composite walls, and optional door racking to increase body rigidity and load capacity.
