Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems’ ACom Diagnostics software hit a milestone recently, scoring its 50,000th download, the company announced.

ACom Diagnostics is designed to help fleets and technicians diagnose, repair, troubleshoot and recalibrate components that form Bendix’s antilock braking, stability and tire pressure monitoring systems. The diagnostics software has been downloaded twice an hour every day since the beginning of 2016, according to Bendix.

The latest version of ACom, Version 6.10, builds upon earlier versions and includes more features and support for the SmarTire TPMS, such as easier navigation. Version 6.10 supports Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating systems. The software interfaces with the vehicle and reduces steps in the troubleshooting process by directing the technician straight to the diagnostic trouble code for an efficient repair.

“We share the same goal with technicians and their fleets– keep all trucks running with the safest braking, active safety, and TPMS systems possible,” said Scott Burkhart, vice president of sales, marketing and business development at Bendix. “This is part of our philosophy of supporting our customers after the sale throughout the life of the product.”

Bendix ACom Diagnostics software is available for free through the literature center on Bendix’s website. The software can also be downloaded from MyBendix.com.
