Mitchell 1 has reached an agreement to provide repair information, diagnostics, estimating and maintenance software to the fleet management and maintenance services provider First Vehicle Services.
The agreement gives First Vehicle Services technicians access to Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries and ProDemand software programs, providing information to diagnose, repair, maintain and write estimates for most makes and models of light, medium- and heavy-duty trucks. With access to Mitchell 1’s software, technicians will be provided with the solutions for each stage of the repair process.
TruckSeries is a software suite with repair information for Class 4-8 trucks, providing all-makes data information with scalable wiring diagrams, digital pictures, DTC-to-diagnostics, and other features. ProDemand provides OEM repair, estimating and maintenance information for technicians. Key features include expert-based Real Fixes, scalable color wiring diagrams, the latest TSBs, common replaced parts graphs, and integrated estimating with the Mitchell 1 Manager SE shop management system.
“First Vehicle Services selected Mitchell 1 to provide up-to-date service information to our technicians who service more than 40,000 vehicles, including light, medium and heavy-duty,” said Ray Roland, director of maintenance for First Vehicle Services. “Having this information at the technician level allows them to diagnose and repair vehicles quickly and get them back on the road, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and decreased costs.”
