Hankook’s DH07 drive tire and TH22 low platform trailer tire have been made available to fleets and will be on display at the 2016 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., the company announced.

The DH07 is a drive position and pickup and delivery tire designed for medium- and long-haul service. It was developed with a focus on improved durability, ride and handling performance and features a wider, three-channel zigzag groove tread pattern to prevent stone drilling and offers self-cleaning ability.

The tire’s belt structure has been designed for reduced heat generation and optimized for better ride and handling. An improved bead design profile offers improved retreadability. The DH07 is available in 225/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5 and 265/70R19.5 sizes.

The TH22 low platform trailer tire features a chip and cut compound designed for better durability. It incorporates a belt structure that minimizes deformation for lower-rolling resistance, an enlarged carcass profile with a reinforced belt cord and a reinforced beard structure for better load performance.

The TH22 is available in four 17.5-inch and 22.5-inch sizes; 215/75R17.5, 235/75R17.5, 245/70R17.5 and 255/70R22.5.

“The DH07 and TH22 offer fleets two new quality patterns for drive position and trailer applications,” said Brian Sheehey, senior director of commercial tire sales, Hankook Tire America.
