Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its Fleet Council annual forum at this year’s event, which is slated for April 12 to 14. The event was first established in 1980.

At the Fleet Council, prominent fleet customers meet to discuss industry trends, share best practices and learn about advancements in Bendix active safety and braking system technologies. The multi-day event is attended by 25 fleets from several vocations in North America.

“The longevity and substance of the Bendix Fleet Council is just one way we demonstrate our firm commitment to our customers and to the evolution of the commercial vehicle industry,” said Scott Burkhart, vice president of sales, marketing and business development at Bendix. “We are very proud to host the 35th anniversary of this premier event.”

Bendix started the Fleet council to better understand the needs of its customers. The event provides a two-way dialogue for Bendix by which the company can gain feedback on its products services and programs.

“This premier event provides a valuable opportunity for all of us to step back from our day-to-day business requirements in order to share insights, ideas, and feedback surrounding the issues that are most critical to today’s fleets,” said Burkhart.
