Grote Industries has hired Michael R. Henderson as its vice president of engineering. Henderson will be responsible for all Grote engineering and be tasked with implementing the company’s new product development process.

Henderson has 25 years of experience in the industry working in engineering, operations management, product design, and research and development. Most recently he was the vice president of operations and engineering for the technology startup Modumental. Prior to that, Henderson was at Seagate Technologies where he became vice president of Asia engineering for the hard drive manufacturer.

Henderson has a BS in Physics and Mathematics and an MS in Physics from the University of Minnesota. He also completed the executive management programs from the Harvard Business School and Stanford University.

Grote Industries is a global manufacturer and supplier of lighting products and related safety systems for commercial, military and specialized vehicles. The company engineers and manufactures LED, LED LightForm, fluorescent, and incandescent lamps, mirrors, wiring systems, turn signal switches, connections and reflective accessories for trucks and trailers.
