Dart announced increases in pay to drivers throughout the company’s network. Drivers will see anywhere from 2 cents to 10 cents per mile increases with the average increase being 5 cents per mile, according to Dart.
Owner operators will get a fuel adjustment and accessorial pay in addition to the increase, and employee drivers will receive a fuel bonus.
“Owner operators in some of our dedicated operations are making $1.35 per mile or more including fuel adjustment,” said Russ Moore, vice president of fleet services at Dart.
Dart is also offering sign-on bonuses for all of its driving career options. Dart is offering a $5,000 bonus for owner operators with their own truck and all other owner operators and employee drivers are eligible for $3,000 bonuses. Graduates from Dart’s driver finishing program for students will receive $1,500.
“Our new pay packages are extremely attractive,” said Moore. “Dart is setting owner operators and drivers up for success from day one.”
Dart is a dry van carrier offering over-the-road, dedicated, regional and short haul options for professional truck drivers. The company also offers trucks for lease or purchase through its truck and finance vendor, Highway Sales, Inc.
