ASF Intermodal announced that it has exceeded 300 trucks on the road, which it is calling a significant milestone in the intermodal drayage industry.

“I attribute our growth and success to the team that we have created here at ASF and the overwhelming support of our customers and fleet,” said Michael Smith, ASF president.

ASF Intermodal began in 2011 and exceeded 100 trucks on the road before its first anniversary in business. The company says growth continued at a steady pace leading to the 300 truck milestone it has reached in its third year.

“With more than 300 trucks operating out of our strategically-positioned terminals, we can be a one-stop shop for our customers,” said Smith.

The company originally had two locations in the southeast and has since expanded to have dedicated intermodal terminals in nine markets, Mobile, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Memphis, Norfolk, and Chicago. ASF Intermodal says their truck capacity has increased in all of its markets and it is poised for continued growth.

ASF Intermodal is an Alabama-based private full service intermodal truck carrier with branch offices and depots throughout the southeast and Midwest regions of the U.S.
