Transplace announced that Celtic International has expanded its cross-border and intra-Mexico intermodal capabilities. The expansion provides Transplace and Celtic with a more comprehensive U.S.-Mexico service offering, and will allow their customers to better use intermodal services in and out of Mexico, according to the company.

The expanded intermodal capabilities are an extension of Transplace’s service offerings in Mexico, which include bilingual customer service and a Transportation Management System with capabilities tailored for the Mexican market.

In 2011, Transplace Mexico became a licensed U.S. Customs Broker, enabling the company to be a single-source provider for its customers moving freight cross-border. As part of its recent investment, Transplace has expanded its customer service center in Monterrey, Jalisco Mexico to further support the efficient movement of shipments across the U.S.-Mexico border.
