Wisconsin Clean Cities Inc. will host its 8th Annual Stakeholder Meeting and Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program Recognition Banquet on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

Each year WCC recognizes the efforts of its members to develop clean-fueling infrastructure, advance the understanding of the benefits of clean-fuel vehicles, and their work to develop Clean Corridors on interstate highways and trade routes.

WCC has moved its annual recognition event this year to Lambeau Field in recognition of its shift from a southeast region to a statewide Clean Cities coalition. WCC announced its re-designation in June of 2013.

Following the Annual Stakeholder Meeting, WCC will host a banquet to celebrate the successful conclusion of the four-year Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program and recognize the partners who helped make it a success.

Since its inception in 2009, the WCTP has updated or installed 13 private and four publicalternative fueling or electric charging stations and deployed over 300 vehicles on the roads of Wisconsin. It is estimated that the program will displace over 1.6 million gallons of petroleum each year.
