Kenworth dealer Trans Power has opened a new parts location one mile west of U.S. Interstate 75 in Tifton, Ga.
The newly renovated 6,800 square-foot facility offers 1,300 square feet of parts storage well-stocked with Kenworth proprietary and TRP all-makes parts, and has a comfortable driver’s lounge. Trans Power Kenworth - Tifton is located on five acres at 365 Southwell Blvd., in the Tifton Industrial Park. The well-fenced property offers plenty of room for truck drivers to park their trucks and trailers.
Besides the Tifton, Ga., dealership, Trans Power operates three additional Kenworth locations in Albany, Douglas, and Valdosta, Ga.
The new parts dealership is part of a Kenworth dealer network of nearly 340 locations in the United States and Canada.
John Bennett has been appointed vice president and chief technology officer for Meritor, a newly created role at the company.
