EcoDual Inc., a provider of dual fuel systems for heavy-duty Class 8 trucks, announced the appointment of Mike Donoughe as president and CEO of the company.

Donoughe is well known for his work in executing vehicle programs. He has led multiple teams in vehicle engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality. His role as executive vice president at Tesla contributed to the introduction of the first highway-capable, all-electric car in the world, the Tesla Roadster. Additionally, during his time as vice president at Chrysler, Donoughe led the product teams responsible for vehicles including the 2005 Dodge and Chrysler minivans, the 2007 JeepWrangler and the 2009 Dodge Ram.

Donoughe was COO of Bright Automotive from 2010 to 2012. Bright focused on the design and manufacture of a plug-in, hybrid electric, commercial vehicle. He is a principal of Third Shore Group, which is focused on commercialization of technologies for start-up to mid-sized firms.

Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for SINOEV Technologies and SensorComm Technologies as well as on the advisory boards for BRD Motorcycles and Sight Machine Inc.
