More than 10,000 work truck industry professionals are set to descend on Indianapolis next week for North America's largest work truck event. The Work Truck Show 2013 runs March 6-8 at the Indiana Convention Center and features 500,000 square feet of the newest vocational trucks, vans and equipment.

Governmental agencies and private companies rely on work trucks every day to get their jobs done, particularly in the construction, utility, delivery, landscaping and agricultural industries. The Work Truck Show offers educational sessions, product introductions and unique test drives on city streets.

Off the 500,000-square-foot show floor, attendees can take part in the interactive Green Truck Ride-and-Drive, which offers participants real-world test drives in more than 20 commercially viable advanced hybrid and alternative fuel vocational vehicles. The Ride-and-Drive route takes participants onto the streets of Indianapolis and around Lucas Oil Stadium before returning to the Convention Center, giving them a true idea about how the trucks perform.

Last year's Work Truck Show at the Indiana Convention Center was the largest in history, with 563 exhibitors and more than 10,400 attendees.
