Hot Line Freight System, a regional trucking company based in West Salem, Wis., opened a new terminal in Davenport, Iowa.

The Davenport terminal will provide expanded shipping opportunities for the Quad Cities and surrounding area with less-than-truckload in the Midwest, volume service nationwide, and expedited and hot-shot services.

Hot Line Freight System is a Midwest regional carrier, providing next day service to much of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The Davenport terminal is Hot Line's 14th terminal, providing coverage from the Quad City area to all 48 states.

"We felt it was time to have a terminal in the Quad Cities to better serve our customers and to expand the area that we cover" said Paul Burgmeier, vice president of operations.
