The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association named Beth Barkovich as the director of membership development.


Barkovich joined HDMA on July 23 and is responsible for membership recruiting and retention, organization fund-raising and as part of the HDMA's association marketing and events team.

"Beth comes to HDMA with a solid background in the motor vehicle industry," says Tim Kraus, president and COO of HDMA. "She understands this industry, has a strong skill-set, a great attitude, a high level of energy and is a solid addition to the HDMA organization."

Barkovich's professional background includes the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Performance Friction and Rehau. As an entrepreneur, Beth worked in marketing consulting with major industry clients such as Carquest, Pep Boys, O'Reilly, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, NIASE and Nascar Motorsports.

Beth holds a BSBA in Finance from West Virginia University and is located out of the HDMA office at MEMA headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
